Hello!

My baby is 11 weeks old (1 week adjusted age). She seems to wake around 11:30 and 3:30 every night - babbling, making loud noises until she starts to cry if left. When you pick her up and get into bed with her in your chest she settles and goes back to sleep but wakes upon putting back in the crib. We've started doing this every night but I really don't want to do this long term given it's dangerous if we fell asleep or at the moment we are very sleep deprived!

How can we get her to sleep in her bed? Please help!

Do you swaddle? This was exactly us (but 6 weeks prem) and he would only ever go to sleep on our chests. We used to just take it in turns to stay awake for a few hours every night - not sustainable! Swaddling was a game changer for us! First night we used it and he went to sleep in his Moses basket after about 10 minutes!

Thank you so much @Bluenigellas - tried swaddling the past couple of nights and has made such a difference :)

It's really not advised to co sleep with prem babies. I am a big fan of co sleeping, but have read that this is not advised. A side sleeper system maybe?
