What are your baby's favourite snacks?

Hi,

My little boy is coming up for 1. I'm doing some meal planning. It's probably time to start having snacks more regularly, but I'm a little stumped. At the moment he has the odd half banana or rice cake with nut butter, but that's about it. It would be great if people could share their baby's favourite homemade snacks! Bonus points for things that freeze well.

Thank you all!

A roll with hummous in

a small pot of pasta

fruit

i batch cook sweet potato wedges and season them and give one or two throughout the day as a snack (he’s 10 months old). I do the same with oat bars - mix a load of oats and fruit together and whack in the oven for 10 minutes

Ooh oat bars sound good! Just oats and fruit? Thanks

Homemade oat bar (equal parts oats and milk, mix in a Tupperware and microwave for 4 or 5 minutes, so easy!)

Melon, sliced and kept in the fridge (great for sore gums too)

Fruit

Dinner leftovers if we're at home and there's not enough left for a full meal.

Pancakes can be batch cooked and frozen and are relatively mess free for out and about

Joe wicks cheesy broccoli tots (I actually love these!) Basically chopped cooked broccoli and cauli mixed with an egg, some breadcrumbs, grated cheddar, herbs/seasoning of your choice. Form into little to shapes and back until golden and crispy! My DD goes mad for these

Will definitely be googling the Joe Wicks recipe, that sounds great. Thank you ☺️ and giving the oats a go. Have you tried freezing them?
