Starting preschool with clingy baby

DD is starting preschool in September, she’s just turned two.

she’s massively clingy and cries when I’m out of her sight. Her speech is also quite behind which leads to many tantrums.

does anyone have any tips that we can start doing this summer before she starts that can help her settle in better? Am feeling quite nervous which probably isn’t helping!

TIA

Do you ever leave her with anyone- what about your partner? But I wouldn’t spend all summer worrying about this, preschool will have seen it all before and will be settling pros! On the speech delay- give a running commentary of everything you’re doing so she hears speech constantly, get her hearing checked and chat to the HV. Frustration tantrums are very normal with this age group though.
