Baby not interested in morning feed

Hello

My baby is 4 months old, she is formula fed since she was 12 weeks old. She generally takes 5oz bottles

Recently she has been refusing morning feed - or only taking 2oz max. She is fed 7.30am ish (this is the problem feed) then 11.30,1500 , 1900 & dream feed at 10.30pm.
She wakes up about 3am for a night feed and takes between 3-4oz.
My question is whether this night feed could be affecting her morning feed? Is she still full? Should I try and cut the night feed?

Try and cut the night feed, or just feed her later in the day or give a smaller feed.

Think about it - do you eat the exact same amount at the exact same time every day??

Yeah I may try to cut the night feed but I suppose you are right in that she may not want to eat as much at that time

My LO went through a phase like this at the same age. She wasn’t even feeding through the night so I couldn’t understand how on earth she couldn’t be hungry!

Anyway, this has now passed and she’s back to taking 6/7oz in the morning again (albeit she isn’t interested until about 45 mins after waking!).

I’d say the phase lasted a few weeks, hopefully the same for you!
