Hi my daughter is 7 and has been complaining about a toothache for the past few days looked in her mouth there is nothing apart from the back looks red think her back tooth is coming in. Today she has a temp of 38.7 she has no other symptoms apart from feeling tired a a slight headache but think that’s from the fever. This happened last time a back tooth came in. Has anyone else experienced this.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I have called 111 but they are extremely busy and said I could be waiting hours for a call

Does the temp come down with paracetamol? Does the pain go away with ibuprofen?

Mum23girlies · 03/07/2022 15:33

Hi I have given her paracetamol and her temp has come down and she has perked up, her head is still hurting a bit

Most common cause of headache is dehydration, has she had enough water?

Mum23girlies · 03/07/2022 15:40

Yeah but I should probably make her drink some because of the high temperature

Took her to a and e as she vomited and that and the headache made we worry, doctor said she has a slight throat infection. Anyone else had a throat infection with no pain
