HELP me choose a stroller

ijustcouldntthinkofausername · 27/06/2022 22:17

We've just had a smaller car so I am looking for a lightweight stroller which folds in half as opposed to length ways as it will fit into the boot easier.
I've been looking at Joie pact but it's unavailable literally EVERWHERE!

Can anyone recommend a similar stroller please?

I want lightweight, good sun protection, folds in half, decent basket space underneath and not too expensive (around £100ish)

Please help 🙏🏻

Ha. Our lightweight one is a ..... Joie Pact. Sorry to hear it's out of stock.

One thing I would say is check the max weight limit. The pact is 15kg which DC grew out of around age 2 so we then had to get a bigger (but umbrella fold stroller).

With hindsight I don't think we would have done differently because the Pact is so lightweight and easy to use and we've been able to take it on planes as hand baggage, but do check the max weight of whatever you go for.

We got the MiniUno touchfold about 6 months ago and it’s going great… Basket isn’t huge - enough for changing stuff, snacks, a toy or two - and the wheels are tiny, but it folds SO easily and looks pretty smart.

Oh no he turned 15 months last week so I need it to last longer than 2! Ok thanks for the tip I'm going to check weights now.

On to more hours of obsessing over strollers 😂😂

Have you looked at the baby jogger range?

We went for the Silver Cross Clic which is a little more pricey than your budget at John Lewis- think it’s £200 there. It folds up so easily with one hand, is super lightweight and takes up so little room in the boot of my Polo.

Its also approved by airlines for the overhead cabins as a bonus. Plus, suitable from birth up to 22kg so seemed like a good option for us as our girl is super long and likely to reach that earlier than 3/3.5.

Hope this helps x
