Did I accidentally shake baby?

so today I was upset at hubby while ds 6 months old was on my left shoulder. There was laundry basket on the floor and I started angrily throwing clothes around, and as I was bending down I almost dropped baby but fixed him and angrily threw clothes with my right arm, am I being overly concerned or could I have shaken him?

No. That’s not shaking a baby. Nor is going over rough ground in a pram which someone once asked me thinking their perfectly healthy baby may have sustained some sort of damage. True.

My DD is four months now and the amount of times I’ve panicked about this after making a slightly tougher than usual movement is ridiculous! It’s so scary but I really don’t think it’s something that can be done accidentally. Shaking the baby is a forceful, intended movement.
Just to clarify, I’m not rough with my baby but she’s always had a strong neck and likes to try and fling herself from my arms

I know it’s just because I was throwing angry with my right arm and was holding him on left. Made me feel like I shook him with the movement.

that makes sense sometimes when on rough roads his head shakes load and it freaks me out so much

Probably safer to put the baby down in that situation op
