How can I get my baby's dry bogeys out?

My 6mo baby has huge dry bogeys way up in her nose every single day. I can see them if I lie her down and look up her nose, but I can also hear them, which is what really makes me want to get them out. Her breathing sounds all stuffy and uncomfortable. Sometimes I can hook them out with my little fingernail and she just sounds so much better, but usually they're too far up.

The nasal aspirator does nothing because they are dry. Even with saline solution they're just not sucked by it at all.

I don't want to be sticking all sorts of things up her nose, but is there a way I can gently get them out? She just sounds so uncomfortable, especially at night with her little mouth closed and her taking these huffy nose breaths blocked by gigantic bogeys. She's my third baby and neither of my other two had anything like this problem.

Haha i too have a bogey baby! I use sterimar nasal spray and then it can be sucked out if its wet but usually he'll sneeze it out after the spray x

Have you tried sucking her nose? It worked very well for me and my very snotty baby but I have a fairly strong stomach 😂

Works brilliantly and baby doesn't really mind it either as it's very quick

I used tweezers. Probably not the best idea but they needed to come out

Is she a deep sleeper? Wait til she’s asleep so you can really get up there 😄 think how satisfying it will be. I’m thinking nostalgically back to mine when they were babies.

Maybe put a humidifier in the room where she sleeps so the air isn't so dry.
