Me and dh have spent the whole weekend bickering and sniping, and it all stems from our very different parenting styles

Dh is old school, brought up by a mason. He and his brother remember their late father very differently, dh seems to have a very rosy recollection, brother, remembers a bad tempered bully.
We have 5 kids 13, 10, (former marriage, ex not that imvolved)4, 2 and 8mths.
We are both inconsistent with discipline, he more so than me.
