Hello, first time mum to a 3 month old boy that loves kicking around without a nappy.
Currently using disposable cot bed pads but it seems wasteful.
Just wondering what other mums would recommend. Looking for something that would absob pee and can be chucked in the washing machine.
As I type this I am thinking maybe I should buy a thick/luxury towel or bathmat from a supermarket... Any thoughts from experienced mums? Thank you

Brolly sheets is a good brand that holds a lot. The Eric charity sells them - they have a proper waterproof layer so that nothing leaks through to spoil the mattress.

Kylie or any similar brands from the incontinence section of Amazon. I’ve a few and they are great

We use these joizi.co.uk/products/peapodmats-large-washable-bed-pads

they’re brilliant!

I just put a towel down on top of a changing mat.

I like the Brolly Sheets as mentioned above, currently have these on my toddlers' beds so they will be useful for many years. For a small pad I like the Tots Bots changing mat, used that a lot for nappy free kicks! Now sits either on the sofa (potty training) or under the potty on the carpet upstairs

Pop in play mat
Its one of the best thing we have ever bought. Soft fleece and absorbent on one side. Waterproof on the other side but not crinkly or plasticky. Machine washable. Padded so nice for lying/sitting on and also has loads of other uses - picnic rug, blanket, towel, keeping things dry. We use it loads.
