Hi, my 7yo Dd is still a very reluctant reader. It's like getting blood out of a stone. She's on the phonics books still, stage 7. I usually make her read to me for ten minutes or so every other day. She has 1 or 2 chapters of a book read to her every night, things like Daisy and the trouble with, 13 storey tree house, the little house on the prairie. We've got lots of books about the place and I am often reading myself.
Has anyone got any suggestions how to approach this to help her improve?
