We have a great play area near us that I take 2 year old DS to a lot. About a month ago, DS made the foolish error of laughing at another child (approx 4 years old) jumping off one of the climbing frames. This child noticed, liked the attention and now they won’t leave us alone! The child is there all the time with their parents, but the parents pay absolutely no attention whatsoever. The child follow us everywhere, right between my legs sometimes and it’s ramping up. In the last week they have made DS cry twice by dragging him over trying to get him to run after them and by screaming in his face. It escalated today when they followed us onto a climbing frame and tried to push DS off. The parents are no where to be seen. I feel sorry for the kid as it’s obvious he’s seeking attention, but it’s getting really annoying and dangerous. Problem is kid doesn’t speak a word of English. Pretty certain his dad does. Would it be unreasonable to say to the dad the kid needs to back off?
