bigboydiditandranaway · 14/01/2008 20:57

well, we'd spend upto £40 and gps separate pressies probably about £20 each.

here are a few of my 2.8yo's favourites:

  • cars, cars and more cars (i know you said he has many but no such thing as too many ime)
  • brio track and trains (if you were all to club together you could almost afford the john lewis starter kit with table)
  • jigsaws
  • disney pixar cars dvd
  • aquadraw
  • books (can't go wrong) - i can give recommendations if you like

Second the brio train - we got one for ds1 (2.2) for Xmas and he loves it. We have also discovered that the cheapo remote control train engine that my mum got him in Tesco has a magnet on the back that will to stick the brio train carriages and also fits the tracks so it can actually pull the train round the track. Blissfully happy ds1 until ds2 in Godzilla mode apears over the horizon...
Also, how about a playmat, if he likes cars - you know the kind with streets and buildings and things? They sell a couple of different ones in ELC - one like a rug, another plastic one that folds up.
