Toddler eczema and the hot weather

Hope54321 · 14/06/2022 13:38

I usually have my 17 month old toddler covered up to prevent him from scratching his eczema. He has the eczema pretty much every where and we are managing the eczema with steroids and creams from the dermatologist.

Now that the weather is getting hot, it will be difficult to keep him covered and he will scratching constantly.

What can I do to prevent him from scratching so much at night?

One of my friends used to sew the ends of pyjama arms up to stop her DC from scratching at night.

Do you cream him and put tubigrip vest and leggings on at night? Can you just do that with no pjs/baby grow?

keep nails short

keep room cool
