Diarrhea with mucus **senstive post**

My little one is currently teething with his third and possibly fourth tooth. He is 7 months old and since 11pm has had 8/9 nappies with diarrhea. He is being weaned and has tried new foods this past week so I am unsure if the teething / allergy to a new food is causing this. He is fine in himself no temperature, no discomfort, is very happy in himself and is still eating and drinking as normal. His nappies look strange. Looking for some advice as too if this looks like teething/allergy or should I be calling 111 to get him checked out?

As an allergy Mum this won’t worry me if the first time this has occurred was with teething.

If it's just mucus in poo I'd put it down to teething, if a rash, vomit and temperature started I'd put it down to a allergy. My DD is 2.5 and I remember trying to work out allergy or teething was always a nightmare. Also for her a allergy poo would give her acid burn on her bits but with teething it didn't

@HiKelsey oh he does have a rash just googled that and it does look like what he’s got - I just thought it’s where he keeps pooping and I have to keep cleaning him
