Please share your fails with me so I don't feel so bad!
Nice sunny day here so I decided myself and 3 year old would go play in the garden. I had an old box waiting to go in the bin so thought, great! We'll build a boat and play pirates.
We stuck the box together, decorated it with chalk. Filled the paddling pool up. Painted fish and stuck them up around the garden! Great fun!
For approximately 3 minutes.
Then the boat fell over and 3yo screamed at it. I tried to carry on, "oh dear the boats capsized, quick let's fix it!" But no. Boat was ruined apparently. Stupid boat.
Let's go for a swim in the paddling pool. Oh wait, 3yo slipped and fell face first. Now we're screaming because you're wet? It's okay, you'll dry, let's run around and chase the fish!
One fish blew off the fence. ONE fish. There's no stopping the screaming now. Pirate adventure is officially ruined.
We're inside watching paw patrol. Maybe we'll have an adventure tomorrow.
