Moving up north from the south east

We are seriously considering moving up north, I like the look of Sheffield.

We are quite squashed in our house at the minute and expecting our 3rd child but can't really afford to move anywhere bigger around here! If we moved up north we could afford a much bigger house.

My only worry is moving my kids, they are 5 and 7. Has anyone else made the same move, are you glad you did? Or if anyone has any advice 🙂

Sheffield is lovely, so close to the countryside, great amenities. I don't live there but visited regularly North Leeds also fab. As with anything though, research the area, you need to make sure the bigger house you can afford is in an area you want to live in.
