Back Carrier for 7 month old?

Can anyone recommend a baby carrier for a 7 month old that you wear on your back and is good for people with bad backs?

I haven't worn baby much due to back issues. Previously used the baby Bjorn occasionally (baby on the front) but found it pulled too much on my neck/shoulders. Fabric slings are a no. I was thinking one of those ones which look like they have scaffolding around them but don't know which one to go for.

You need one with a decent waist/hip belt so the bulk of the weight is born by your hips. Ergobaby and Tula make that kind of carrier. There are more brands but those are the ones I know. Honestly though, you need to try them on with your baby to know whether they suit you and your back. Do you have any friends with carriers or could try out? Or a sling library locally where you could borrow one to try?
The baby bjorn ones without a hip strap are painful once baby gets to about 7kg, in my experience.

Are fabric slings a no because they hurt your back or because they are tricky to tie?
