Sleepsuits/vests

Those without a sleepbag/swaddle, are you still putting a vest under a sleepsuit at night in this milder weather? My room is around 20-22 and not sure if that’s too warm for both layers but she seems ok with them.

Note: i’ve got postnatal anxiety so can’t use blankets as I wouldn’t sleep for worrying

I have my DD (12 months) in a vest with a sleepsuit as the temperature has been dropping here overnight, but will likely be in sleepsuit only by the end of the week.

If you are worried just poke a finger down the neck to feel their chest temp, or if you are still at the stage of night feeds then check during the feed or nappy change.

My little (15 weeks) is just in a vest and cellular blanket. Every window is open and I did have the fan on too but that's off now.

I will pop her into her sleeping bag after her first night feed around midnight.

Mine is in a short vest, sleepsuit and 1.0 tog sleep bag! He likes it toasty (side effect of a winter baby??).. but I always check his chest to make sure he isn't too hot. Anything less and he gets cold hands/face.

Babygro and 1.5 tog sleeping bag (no vest), and the room is 22 degrees. I toy with putting a vest on him at 20, as it usually is colder in the morning
