Hello

We have a 3 hour flight coming up and hoping you can give me some tips to keep my 15 month old happy a she doesn’t like sitting still and is very strong willed!

  1. can anyone recommend headphones that will fit her? All ones I can see on Amazon seem for 2+
  2. does anyone have any tips for helping their ears? Slightly concerned she had an ear infection a while ago and might be in some discomfort - it’s healed but I suffered with bad ears as a child and remember the flights were so painful!
Any good toy/fidget toy recommendations?

Thanks very much
x

Ipad and chocolate. Sorry no advice on earphones. Be prepared to walk up and down the aisle!

The 2 year+ headphones will work, i got one for my boy and he was barely 1 at the time and it fitted perfectly (It was adjustable).

Just lots and lots of snacks. Don't worry about feeding her too many biscuits etc, it's the only thing that will get you through!

Mine has Puro Sound Labs BT2200 headphones and they are awesome. Although she didn't really like wearing them until she was 2-3 years old. When younger, I didn't bother with headphones on the plane - she was happy watching soundless videos / games.

In terms of other toys/activities for the flight I'd suggest lots of snacks, stickers, colouring pens, etc. 3 hrs isn't very long really...

Chloroform 👀👀🤷🏻‍♀️
But seriously….iPad, endless snacks, a straw cup with a favourite drink to suck on to help with the ears popping 👍🏻

All great ideas and will do them all! 😄 straw and drink ideal for ears thank you!

We took our son on a flight at 18 months old and I was surprised how well he did.

We had some hey Duggee downloaded on our phones that we had on very quietly.

Tons of snacks. Way more than we thought we'd need.

New toys in his special plane bag. I'm doing this again with my kids this summer. We're going to Poundland a few days before we go and letting them pick out a few new things. They can't have them until they are on the plane and in the air.
