Hi everyone I have a 1 year old son and a 5 month old daughter from she was born shes been a very fussy crying baby after first being told colic and ending up in a&e on the 14th of april we found out she has cmpa since she got put on nutramigen milk her stomach problems seem to have stopped
But she crys most of the day she can be fine for maybe an hour then just crys no matter what we do play with her cuddle her feed her take her outside walk with her put her in her swing play music white noise nothing works she just crys until she tires herself out and falls asleep it's awful tho as she can cry for up to am hour at a time I have started to have to put her in her moses basket and walk into next room and k stand and cry because I feel so helpless I hate seeing my baby cry but nothing I do stops her
Its affecting my 1 year old son as he now crys when she does because he knows we go to her when she crys
Its affecting my relationship with me bf as were both physical and mentally exhausted
We take turns sleeping downstairs with her just so we can get some sleep at night once it gets around 3am shes up every 30 mins takes maybe an oz goes back sleep I've tried getting her take whole bottle she wont and she wont dream feed
My mum and partners mum take her sometimes for a night but its getting they cant cope aswell
I feel like I'm failing as a mum I cant even settle my own baby or make her happy I just dunno what to do and it's getting me so down

Has anyone had a baby similar any tips for helping her or is there something wrong
All advice would be great tia

It could be silent reflux. So they don't bring milk up but they get acidic burning i their throats.

Is she any happier held upright with some pressure on her stomach? So facing away from you with your arm across her tummy?

One of mine had this and it was utterly miserable. Ask the GP for meds to help rule it out.

That sounds hideous, I'm sorry. Have you tried a dummy? My son had reflux and it was amazing the difference it made. He grew out of needing it by six months (started around two months, in desperation).

I have a very similar sounding baby
She cries A LOT!
Shes 7 months next week and she has learned to scream as well now.
Reading about high needs babies has helped
She doesn't cry in the bath or shower so we do that and also try and get out for a walk of we can.
Sending solidarity ❤️ I know its very difficult
