Newborn sleeping

My 17 day old LO has slept like this since birth. I put her down on her back but she rolls to this immediately and won’t stay on her back when I try to roll her to it. Is this a concern? I’m panicking as I know back sleeping is recommended but I can’t physically stop her doing this…

As long as she is moving herself into the position then it's fine.
Congratulations, she's gorgeous!

Such a beautiful little baby If you're really worried show this picture to your hv but baby just looks comfy tilted slightly not fully led on the side. If baby was mine I wouldn't worry but I've had two and know what it's like to worry about them. Mention it to hv to put your mind at rest.

My only concern here would be that the mattress looks very soft - should be super firm for a baby.

Looks perfect to me.. she's beautiful

Thanks! It’s definitely not soft it’s just that the sheet is a bit crinkled here so looks dented. She also sleeps like this in a different cot upstairs, must just be her comfy spot!
