Teacher gifts - nursery teacher/key person

Hi (hoping I have posted this in the right place)

My DS is leaving nursery in a couple of weeks and I want to get the perfect present for his nursery teacher (just one key person) and I'll get some nice chocolates for the other staff.

What are the best gifts you've received or given?

His key person is slightly older (around mid fifties) if that makes a difference.

Thank you!

I used to work in a preschool. My favourite gift was a lovely potted rose, it’s now in my garden and each year when it flowers I think of that lovely little boy and his parents. Also, handmade cards, I love seeing what the children make when left to their own devices!

Our friends are teachers and they live handwritten notes or artwork from the kids. We’ve seen a great guide for every budget - free to over £50 on www.yourofferskidsoffers.com/giftguides/teachers

love the potted plants idea someone posted too!
