Constipation on anti-reflux milk

I have recently changed my little ones milk from kendamil to aptamil anti reflux as she was having severe acid reflux however she's now got the worst constipation.

She is tiring herself out straining and is so unsettled. Bicycle legs make her even more uncomfortable can anyone recommend anything?

Did a medical professional make the suggestion to switch milk? If so, go back to them for advice.

How old is she?

I have but haven't had any luck
My HV advised to do bicycle legs and that it's normal for constipation but she's so irritated and uncomfortable

I'd keep her on the normal milk her reflux should be stopping at this age if it's really bad and she's in pain take her to get ranitidine or omperozale my first born had severe silent reflux and grew out of it at 4 month when the part of the throat grows fully to stop things coming up, she was on ranitidine before hand which stopped the pain completely, I think with the thicker formulas you stop one problem but create another , I'd give her a tiny mouthful of a pouch of prunes it works a charm for constipation I no she won't be weaning but I can't really suggest anything else bar waiting it out . Is she in pain from the reflux ? If she isn't I'd just continue as you are but on normal milk she's nearly at weaning age now and food will stay down a lot better. Hope you lo is ok and poos for you soon my son has been constipated on and off since starting solids and it's awful for them.
