First birthday ideas?

DS will be 1 in July and I'm wondering what toys your wee ones particularly loved at this age?
We've bought a swingset so far, he's getting a slide from family and I'd like to get some sort of ride on, perhaps a Scuttlebug? All ideas welcome!

Scuttlebug or a play kitchen.

Our DS got a scuttlebug for his first birthday but it was a few months more before he was able to work it out. He also got a ride on car thing which he loved

Scuttlebugs are great. We have an indoor and outdoor one and they still get used at 5 and 3.

Other than that, I'd buy things you would be getting anyway like clothes. Baby has no idea:

Thanks for the suggestions so far! I did wonder if the Scuttlebug might be a bit advanced for him, he's nowhere near walking independently yet

They'll grow into it and then it will give hours of fun.
