Postpartum heavy bleeding, dizzyness, nauseous

Hi all
Sorry if I've posted in the wrong topic, I thought most postpartum mum's would be on here for this topic.

I'm 8 week postpartum and started my period, it's really heavy, going through pads in 2 hours max(took a 2 hour nap and soaked through :( ) and I've switched to maternity pads now. Is this normal? I've also started feeling light headed, a little dizzy and feel like I could throw up if I move about enough.
Just wondering if this is normal or I need to go to doctors in the morning?
I had anaemia in my pregnancy was given iron tablets but haven't taken them since birth.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

Definitely get checked out. Sorry to scare you. You will might be very low on iron. You might have an infection. Good luck.

How did you get on? I’m 8 weeks PP and experiencing exactly the same. I’ve been on for 6 days now and there is just no end in sight and starting to feel dizzy now :( was going to leave it until Monday when GPs are open if it is still the same to see what I can do as I’m so fed up of it!
