Bottle feeding problems

My 9 week old is currently taking around 6oz every four hours or so but he is suddenly a nightmare to feed. He will often be restless and shake his head around and stretch out his whole body but when I take the bottle away to burp him he’s hysterical. I’m not sure whether he’s just hangry because I’ve taken it away but I need him to have breaks as he’s also started spitting up and vomiting quite lot which has also started out of nowhere.

When I burp him over my shoulder he cries, writhes about, flails his head around often, digs his legs into my stomach and it’s like he almost tries to lunge out my arms. He used to feed beautifully and fall asleep on the bottle.

Any ideas on what could be going on?

Reflux? Have a word with your gp or health visitor.
You can try using a dummy when you want him to have breaks. If it's reflux then the act of sucking can be soothing but the milk makes the reflux worse.
