Probably being over worried! 7mo DS woke at 4 this morning crying. Been hard to settle caved and gave him a bottle after 5. It's a fairly common occurance he sometimes just can't quite make it til morning for a feed. He's been making a strange gagging sound the last few days and hadn't thought too much of it til he kept doing it this morning and then he suddenly projectile vomited everywhere. From his mouth, his nose, it just kept coming and I am now soaked through (as is the sofa) with milky baby sick. Second baby and never seen anything quite so close to the exorcist! Is this just normal baby spewing? Would I be wasting a GPS time phoning at 8?

Yes it is. Projectile sick in a baby apparently hits the opposite wall. It sounds more like fountain sick which babies do to avoid choking. DD2 was a very sicky baby for the first 4 monrhs and it looked terrifying but it’s a safety ‘feature’.
