dishwasher turning bottles orange?

i've put the dishwasher on with bottles, and the teats have turned an orange colour, should i be concerned??

they're fully washed through but the discolouration of them are worrying me a little. i made the mistake of washing them with a pot of tomato pasta and it's orange.

any way i can get the orange tint out? should i buy new bottles? is it ok to give baby milk from these bottles?

It's just staining from the tomato and doesn't cause any harm.

Nothing will get the stain off but they’re perfectly safe for baby.

I found cold water sterilising the teats helped get rid of the discoloration on them, and it may help with the bottles too.

All our bottles ended up orange as we eat a lot of tomato-based stuff! Just cosmetic.

Soak them in some milton to get rid of the stains. :)

Soaking in Milton shifts it - it works on tupperware which is tomato stained too

This is why I don't wash light coloured plastics with anything tomato related. Try milton as suggested
