Screaming :-/

We have two DC. Eldest 4, youngest 2.5.

Our eldest he just started to shout and scream All. The. Time 😳

It's never in upset or anger but It starts the moment he gets up, even when he's just playing by himself it will be accompanied by shouty chat.

throughout the day he will randomly wander over and scream BOOOOOOO in my face or in the face of his sibling.

This may sound dramatic but I'm beginning to find it intolerable. It puts me in a a bad mood, I'm sick of asking him to speak nicely and not shout.

He's so loud it makes our younger child cry and I honestly feel on edge when he's just randomly screaming all then time.

I find that type of noise really triggering. It makes my heart race and I feel tearful. For some reason on some level I find it really shocking - it's the best way I can describe it.

Other than the randomness and volume he's a wonderful child. But if anyone can give me some advice on how to get him to rein it in I'd be very grateful. He's just gone to bed and I feel completely depleted from being shrieked at all day long Confused

Get a sticker chart and add one every time he uses a quiet voice.

Make a reward for him - he gets to choose pudding or decides which park to visit something cheap and cheerful.

Consequences for not listening when you tell him to stop.
