Formula fed baby appetite increase

My LO is 8 days old and has been having approx 60-90ml every 3-4hrs. The past 24hrs she seems to want it every 2 hrs. Is this a possible growth spurt? Obviously it’s not a problem but I was wary of overfeeding! Although i’d never deny her food when she wants it.

Is she finishing the bottle?
If so, I'd increase the amount in the bottle. You cant really overfeed a newborn baby

You can’t really overfeed a baby so don’t worry about that, they generally know when to stop and if they do have a bit too much they’ll just posset it up with a burp. I’ve always taken draining bottles as a signal to make an extra ounce going forward. If it helps, at that age mine were having 4oz every 3-4 hours. If baby just wants to suck you can also give a dummy between feeds.
