Feeding none stop

My baby is 6 and a half months old.
We started weaning 2 weeks ago and she's mostly still just having small tastes of different things for breakfast and lunch.
Outside of this she wants to bf what feels like alllll the time.
She has been exclusively breast fed until 2 weeks ago.
Tbh we never have had a good feeding routine and if she didn't feed for 2 and a half hours it felt like a victory, now we're back to 90 minute to 2 hour feeding windows and she wakes up 4-6 times a night and wants a feed each time, we co sleep but I can't feed lying down as I have large boons and it doesn't work.
I'm genuinely worried about how much weight she's gaining (99th centile currently).
I've heard time and time again you can't overfeeding a bf baby but my DD just never seems to be full and would happily latch all day and night.
Any advice welcome 🙏

Sounds like a growth spurt. Can you feed as much as possible during the day in the hope she won’t feed so much at night?

Does she seem to really like the weaning foods? Can you up those quantities too? Although I wouldn’t only do that as milk is likely to be more filling.

Has anything else changed, eg you’ve gone back to work/she’s started new childcare etc etc? Could she be wanting to feed more for the closeness and comfort? (Lovely for her at 4am, less so for you…)

Thanks for replying @Wigeon
No we are together 24hours a day
Contact naps, Co sleeping, so literally TOGETHER.
I tried giving more milk today but she has woken 3 times since 8 and seemed desperate for boob each time.
hopefully it is a growth spurt in that it will pass 🤞 as I'm feeling pretty broken by it at the moment

Kelly Mom (excellent website on all things BF) is reassuring on growth spurts here. 6 months is a classic one. It’s tough but🤞🤞this particularly intense bit wont last.
