Best cream for eczema?

Hi all,
My 10 week old has eczema in his face. He can't stop rubbing the itchy red patches. It runs in the family, so no big surprise. GP wants to try moisturisers before medicine which I'm totally on board with. E45 does not seem to be working. In your experience, what is the best cream for baby eczema?
TIA

Lavera all round cream, in a tin for about £8 online. It's simply organic shea butter and almond oil. I personally don't like the 'chemically smell' of E45. This is what I use on my face but my adult son swears by Palmers cocoa butter but the fragrance free version, he's had it since a baby and worse than mine. He takes 6 bottles back with him when he visits as lives abroad.

Oh and do you know about the oats trick for the bath, very soothing. I used to use organic oats in an old sock and run the water through it. Stopped my other son scratching his legs in his sleep til they bled. Sorry your baby has it, its awful when you can't cure it for them💐

Aveeno works for both my dcs.

Doves farm.

If it were anywhere other than the face, I'd recommend Dream Cream from Lush, but not on his little face.
