Using formula abroad.. help!

Hello,
My newborn is on formula powder and we are going to Greece when she is 4 months old.
I have a couple of questions hoping some kind person will be able to help!
What happens if she needs a feed in the airport, UK or abroad, as I won’t be able to take hot (boiled) water through security 😣

Out hotel is a walk away from anything and it is a wedding so I’m assuming we will be seeing family throughout the day. We have the Nuby rapid cool, it’s just arrived but I have read you can only use it once and then have to sterilise it, which we can’t sterilise out and about can we? She currently is feeding every 3 hours (4 weeks old) just wondering for advice as all my friends breastfed

thank you in advance xx

Order formula/pre made cartoons at boots at the airport and pick up after security.

You are allowed to take milk/water through security for babies.

I don't know anything about the rapid cool, but assuming you have more than one bottle? Sterilise when back in the room.

This is how I did it.

I'm not sure why you say you cant take hot boiling water through security but I absolutely did and had no bother.

I filled a thermal flask with hot boiling water, and filled another one with cool water. I then used a mix of both to make formula while at the airport and on the plane. I prepared the right amount of formula before hand and put it in the bottles that way all I need to do is add water.

I tested it at home so I knew exactly how much hot water and cool water to use in order to get the right temp. It worked a treat all throughout our holiday when we were out and about.

I used to take a tupperware container and sterilising tablets. You can fill it with other stuff in your case so it doesn't take up any room. You could take pre-made formula for the flight.

Hi, sorry to start the thread again but did you take your rapid cool through security? Was it allowed? Thank you!

I've just read on another post that you can't take a rapid cool onto the plane due to the lithium battery - has anyone taken it before?
