You’ve posted this before. Have you sought medical advice if you are unsure.

TooMuchBluey · 23/05/2022 18:36

You have had a few threads on this subject - seek medical advice if you're concerned.

hi yeah I have spoke to doctors and health visitors and they have all given different advice and have different ideas on what it can be. And seeing as it’s virtually impossible to see anyone face to face and no one seems to fully listen when I do talk to them thought I would ask some fellow mums

My little boy has very similar poos and has done since being around 3 weeks old (he’s 12 weeks now). He has been reviewed my a couple of GPs and also by a consultant when in hospital for an unrelated issue who have all said his poos aren’t a concern.

I would say if you’re concerned then ask for a second, third or fourth opinion if you’re not happy with what you’ve been advised so far. It does look as though there is some mucus in there - does he have a cold or any other symptoms like a rash etc?

Mum23girlies · 24/05/2022 10:22

Hi thanks she has no other symptoms and is a completely happy and content baby I have taken in a stool sample today so hopefully that will give us some answers. Her poop changed when I switched formula I think that’s why I’m getting so many different opinions about what’s wrong

See the doc and have stool sample results that all came back normal, doc is not worried cause she is putting on weight and following her curve she now weights 12.2lb. She also said she would have more symptoms if it was cows milk allergy. She just requested I get her weighed every 6 weeks to keep an eye on it

My kiddo is formula fed and poops are similar to this time to time. Health visitor isn’t concerned and baby is otherwise healthy and doing well
