Olbus Oil for babies

Hello everyone!!
My son is 11 months old who is suffering from congested nose for weeks now. Last week he had a runny nose and cough so I have been giving him a calpol and vapour rub but it’s still hasn’t cleared up.
I’ve heard mix review about Olbus oil so my question is does it work? And what else can I do please help?

It’s just eucalyptus oil- it does work but the relief is short term.

we had better success at putting drops of eucalyptus oil in one of those at home spa diffuser things and leaving it on all night.

You can put a couple of drops in a humidifier or calpol plug ins are very good too only expensive!

Calpol plug-ins are expensive as @Mamabear04 says but they do seem to last longer than oil in hot water or in a diffuser.

I also prefer the snufflebabe oil which smells like a mix of eucalyptus and other things

Calpol plugins are brilliant, they are expensive but they'll do for two nights if you remember to unplug it in the morning.

Snufflebabe also do a rub which seemed to help a bit, and we always used a steamy shower room before bed when ours had a cold as a baby.

Olbas oil on a muslin tied to the cot is excellent!

Try a saline nasal spray too

Saline drops are fab. My boy had a cold at 4ish months and this was the only thing that really worked. The calpol plug in I thought was very strong and what's with the stupid light on it🤦🏻‍♀️

I don’t like the calpol plug in for the weird blue light aspect!

i just bought plain saline solution from Amazon, they come in individual doses. far far cheaper than the designated nasal ones.
