How much milk did your baby drink at 16 weeks?

My 16 week old boy has GERD and has struggled to feed since day 1. We have recently been discharged from the faltering growth clinic as he has began to put on weight slowly now he is medicated. However, everything I read says he should be drinking at least 900ml in 24 hours and I can barely get 700ml into him. How much did your babies drink at this age? I'm wondering whether I'm becoming to obsessed with the amounts.

In the nicest kindest possible way you are definitely getting hung up on amounts. My boy never drank what they said he should. He was on 4oz every 3 hours during the day then up once over night for another 4oz. As long as he is putting on weight. He now has 3/4 oz in the morning and 5/6 at night. Just keep following your babies cues😊

Thank you, you're right! I think it is because he has been hospitalised and tube fed so many times I'm becoming obsessed. Added to the fact everyone likes to tell me how small he is for his age etc 🙄 My boy is 4-5 oz every 4 hours and once at night so sounds on par with you 😀

It's hard and you constantly second guess yourself but you've got this!ohhh yeh my mil constantly says ohhh he's so skinny🙄He's always followed the 25th percentile for weight. Height wise he's on the 50th. He's I think he's just going to be tall and slim like his dad. He 10 months now and eats food like it's going out of fashion😂I've yet to find something he doesn't like😂😂
