7 week old sleeping all day

Hi.. I have a lovely 7 week old boy who generally sleeps well at night but resists his daytime naps unless he's sleeping in my arms!! Today though he has been sleeping allll day.. he will sleep wherever I put him, wakes for feeds and back to sleep again.. is this a growth spurt? Anyone else had this?

My colleague and I were literally just talking about this. She had a little bairn 6 weeks ago and popped into the office today and she said the same, her's has been sleeping all day recently and yes its a growth spurt. Nothing to worry about as long as they are waking up for feed.

Agree with PP. all is fine as long as baby is feeding. enjoy the peace when you can. My little one is nearly 6 months and still prefers naps in my arms, and most of those are very short bursts 20-30 mins! Enjoy your lovely little one!
