Concerned about a play date

Hi,

I'm a bit concerned about a play date my 8 year old daughter had recently. She went to her friend's house and had a great time. However she told me that she and her friend had gone to play away from the house in a nearby wooded area without any supervision. Do I need to bring this up with the mum as this isn't something I would allow at this age, or leave it as no harm has been done?

Thank you

I'd probably just say something if she goes to play there again.

My daughter wouldn’t be going for another play date there ever again.

That's what I was thinking initially - seems a bit unnecessary to make a thing of it after the fact, but did feel that they were too young to be unsupervised!

It's done now, no point bringing it up, but I wouldn't allow my child there again

Hmm…. My home had a private wood only use by myself and my neighbours. No way would I allow my 7 year old to play there with a friend. He is allowed to play out on our land if he has his 12 year old siblings with him, but no one is allowed in the woods as I can’t see them.
