Please help! I accidentally gave my infant daughter who is four months old 2000 IUs of Vit D3. Twice the maximum daily threshold. Im overseas in a different country (US) without insurance and it’s midnight, do I need to go to emergency room? So scared

As a one off it will not do any harm. Its only when you give large amounts over a long period of time that excess vitamin d would be a problem. Just miss out a dose or 2 and then give your usual amount

Just wait 24 hours before giving another

When I was pregnant I had to take 35,000 in one day as my levels were so low. 2000iu will be fine. Just miss a day or two of it now.
