Bed time for 6 month old

Hi, can anyone advise what time they put their baby to bed. I thought we were OK, but I've been reading online (!!) which suggests she should be in bed earlier.

She typically gets up 6.30-7am ish, and goes to bed about 8 to 8.15pm. She sleeps through. Should she be going to bed earlier?

If she sleeps through I wouldn’t change anything!

If you have a baby who sleeps through keep doing exactly what you are doing, don't mess with it!

Yep, if your baby is sleeping through and her current routine is working, keep doing it!

My 5 month old goes to bed around 7.30 but wakes 2-3 times in the night. He's up for the day between 6 and 7am. Compared to my first, I'd consider him a decent enough sleeper so yours sounds unicorn-like to me!

As above. If it ain't broke don't fix it! We had similar bedtime at that age and you might find it naturally creeps earlier. Our 10mo now goes to sleep between 6.30 and 7pm depending on the days naps

If 8pm is working for you, don't mess with the system. I put mine down around that time at 6 months

Mine all went to bed at 8pm.

Yep, bedtime for our 6 month old is 7.30-8 depending on timings of final nap so sounds about right to me.

Great thank you everyone. I was perfectly happy but then got myself worried after reading online (I know!!).

She was going to sleep about 8.30-9ish but she brought it forward to 8ish now. She might be bringing it forward again - but that's fine, I'm just following her cues.
