Communion gift ideas for an 8 yr old?

We've been invited to the communion of a family member and are planning to give her a card with some cash, but also a small gift.
Any ideas for something on a £20-40 mark? I was told she likes anything creative.

Maybe not actually a gift but you can make a slideshow for the reception. Here are some ideas, these are mostly christening ones but still the whole design could be helpful.
As for the gift itself, think of DIY kits or artsy items like paint-by-numbers or maybe glass paint kit?
