Cream for chickenpox scars?

Hi,

My two year old had chickenpox a few months ago and is still left with some scars, one on her face, on her back and tummy. I think when she was itchy she knocked the heads off the spots so they are taking longer to heal.

Has anyone got any suggestions for cream that can help heal the scars quicker? I was thinking bio oil but am not sure it’s safe for two years olds.

Many thanks for your help

To be honest, I wouldn't bother. They'll fade massively with age.

They will get much fainter as she grows up. But I'm sure Palmer's do a scar reducing cream, or if not there will be lots of scar reducing creams it's just whether they're suitable for younger kids

My ds was left with chicken pox scars on his face 10 years ago. They have faded alot now but did take a long time to fade. I used to worry about them but don't notice them now.

I was hospitalised die to severe chickenpox around the age of 1. I'm now 31 and I'd struggle to point out where the scars are they're that faded, and they have been for years! And I had several on my face! I honestly wouldn't worry too much! X
