1.5tog baby growbag

Hi, so my little ones 2.5 tog growbag is in the wash due to having a little accident. I only have a 1.5 tog to hand. Will he be too warm or cold with a vest and babygrow underneath. Room temperature is currently 19 degrees but will drop to about 16/17 overnight.

Normally he will only wear a babygrow and a 2.5 tog growbag.

TIA x

The online charts don’t help with this temp/bag combo so they? How old is your baby and are they in the room with you? Based on what they recommend for temps/bags around this combo I’d put them in a long sleeved footed sleepsuit but maybe skip the vest. If they’re in the room with you you’ll soon know if too cold! Better too cold than too hot, I believe, for safety.

Would probably be fine for one night, but it would be okay to chuck another layer on him. Maybe a second vest or shirt?

I'd worry it might be a bit cold. Though the weather is warmer today so maybe the temp might not drop so much.
Would it dry if you hang the bag outside today and pop it on the radiator before bed?
My son's room is about 20deg all night and he is in a 2.5tog bag with a sleep suit (no vest). Though I feel like the bag isn't as thick as some 2.5tog ones. There is so much variation between bands.

How old is baby?
My dd runs warm so would be in 1.5tog and just a long sleeved vest from about now with this weather but she's 1. And is currently just in top and leggings
