Toddler red cheeks no temp

Hi,

My toddler has burning red cheeks, he's 2.5 and doesn't have any pain. The redness is very intense, he seems ok in himself and no temperature. Idk if it's teething? He doesn't have any teeth coming through that I can see and he's eating and drinking normal and showing no signs of discomfort.

Does anyone know what it could be?

My 9yo Step Daughter had very similar to this and it turned out she had ’slapped cheek’. Is it itchy? I would suggest going to see a pharmacist or GP.

@CB1993 he has been itching it, no other symptoms though it's flared up since 5pm

Aww yeah I’d take him to the pharmacy tomorrow. They prescribed my SD the most appropriate antihisthames, which helped with the itching, ibuprofen to help with the red inflammation and some paracetamol to help with burning up. It took around a week to clear up but the meds did help her symptoms. Hope your little one feels better soon Smile
