extra gassy baby?

DS is almost sixteen weeks, the past two or three days we've noticed his been extra gassy. i don't think it's painful for him or a massive worry, but wondering if it's normal, or if i should call our gp?

during naps, he sometimes wakes up with his farts, and they're quite loud, his tummy gets a little hard and he's unsettled but once he farts, he's relieved and if napping-goes straight back to his nap. is this excessive farting normal?

he did get a bacterial infection two weeks back, and the antibiotics gave him horrible diarrhoea, he only recently started to have normal poops, could be from his little little intestines going back to normal??

any suggestions on what could be causing this or what we should do? we've not changed his formula or anything, only thing we can think of was the antibiotics he was taking?

You could look into probiotics as antibiotics are known to strip the stomach of good bacteria which might be causing some of his difficulties.
