Teething toys

Need advice please! My 4 month old is teething really badly. Every teething toy I get is always too big for his mouth and ends up being a waste of money. Can anyone recommend a teething toy that is small enough for him to realistically chew on? Not too small so he doesn’t choke :) tia

Mine loved matchstick monkeys from really early on. They have a bumpy part which can also hold a bit of teething gel to help.

We had the matchstick monkey, Sophie la giraffe and the nuby keys

The nuby corn and banana - they are brilliant. Look at the Boots website.

Give painkillers. Have you had dental pain recently? Did you want proper pain relief or to chew on a cold giraffe?

@Huevosrotos @Lockdownmummy @MsSquiz Thankyou for the recommendations! I’ve ordered both the matchstick monkey and nuby teethers. Worth a try! @HermioneWeasley yes, unfortunately neurofen, calpol and teething gel just aren’t helping him:( teething powder gives about half an hour of relief and then wears off

We've had every type of teething toy going and the matchstick moneys are the best! Easy for little hands to handle and for little mouths

Matchstick monkeys and Sophie le Giraffe are the best in my experience, small and easy to hold too!

Teething powders are just sugar

Anbesol for the gums. It'll numb them right away
Asda have the Nuby keys in store
I also freeze carrot batons and celery and have make breast milk ice pops using a silicon mould from Amazon

Watermelon rinds are great cold from the fridge. For out and about the matchstick monkeys are perfect for little hands to hold.
