I'm sorry if this should go elsewhere. Just wondered if anyone could share experience. I have DD10 from a previous (abusive) relationship. She still sees her dad and he continues to be a Disney dad (no maintenance, plenty of fun but etc...) She's nearing puberty and being absolutely vile to me at every given opportunity, I'm trying so hard to do appropriate consequences etc but feel her slipping away from me and also don't really mind this as she's often insufferable 😬 I know it's normal for kids her age to push boundaries, but is there any advice on changing my attitude, as accept I'm the issue, to get back our closeness?
