Short of finger food ideas for DD (11 months) who only has 2 teeth still.

Any ideas? What are your go to finger foods?

Thanks 😊

Try not to worry about number of teeth, their gums are surprisingly tough and they can chomp on a lot! Mine 10mo also only has two, for context.

Corn on the cob is the current favourite (I microwave it and the chop each cob into about 3 smaller bits that baby can hold)

Banana
Slightly quashed blueberries
Raspberries/strawberries
Thin slice of ripe melon on the rind
Toast or a rice cake with PB/cream cheese/goats cheese (whatever is spreadable and in the fridge)
Tinned mackerel
Omlette
Pasta (saute any leftover veg, add cream cheese and a splash of pasta water for an easy 'sauce')
Chicken drumstick (remove skin and grisly bits)
Cheese toastie

Things like rice/cereal/couscous I tend to use yoghurt or mascarpone to bind it together to 'shovelling consistency' so she can scoop it up with her hands.

Pancake in strips or rolled up and sliced - either plain or blend some spinach into the mix and add cream cheese/cheddar
omlette
Bitesize shredded wheat or raisin wheats for breakfast, soaked in milk
Crumpet
Bread and cream cheese
hot cross buns
Soft fruit

Literally anything except soup. At that age we just put whatever we were eating/whatever was in the fridge in front of DD and she got stuck in.
