Hi mums, I am FTM and planning to go on holiday with my 11 month old. Any good places in UK with baby activities... for 2-3 days break. TIA 😁

I think with little ones it’s more of the same somewhere else on holiday. What’s your budget and how far do you want to travel? Center Parcs do some inexpensive mid week term time deals.

What rough area are you based in (makes a huge difference) and how far do you want to travel.

Do you want to have a holiday park or a cottage

We are based in northwest and can travel 2-3 hours by car. Budget is no issue. We already have Center parcs booked for july but struggling to find anything else whoch baby can enjoy as well.

If it were me, I'd focus on myself rather a bit too, and look for a nice hotel (no cooking or cleaning for a couple of days), near a sandy beach (pack some beach toys). Friends/relatives whose company you enjoy (and who can help with little one) close by would be a bonus.

Ribby Hall. Swimming, soft play, small zoo, parks, woodland walk. Small drive away you have Lytham beach or Blackpool.

Lake District. You have Windermere, south lakes zoo, walks, parks, Beatrix potter, or grizedale forest.

My daughter is 18mo now, but found last summer she just enjoyed pram walks (wasn’t walking) parks, coffee shops and feeding the ducks etc.

We took Ds down to Devon when he was just over a year. Mainly pottered around Exeter, beach at exmouth, walk on Dartmoor, some animal park/ national trust type places. He was happy enough. Played on beach and toddled about various country areas, ate ice cream. Dh and I change of scenery and some nice food.
